This listing is for a vintage intricately crafted miniature cup and saucer sets. The cup measures approximately ¼ inch in diameter and the saucer is about ½” in diameter. One of the photos is of a set next to a dime to show the tiny scale of this cup and saucer set. They are made of pure English pewter (no lead). The set is hand painted in great detail and signed with the artist's mark on the back of each saucer. They white in color with gold trim and a colorful fruit design painted on the cup. These are Warwick Miniature from the 1970's and are from a 1/12th scale collection they produced. Warwick is currently making miniatures that have far less detail and hand painting than the early pieces. The early Warwick pieces were much more intricately crafted with greater detail than later pieces. Manny of the early pieces were artist signed like these. These intricately hand painted, artist signed, cups and saucers are no longer in production. They are left over stock from a gift shop that closed in the 1970’s and have been in storage ever since. We just have a four of these left that we will be offering for sale.
