ANTIQUE LIMOGES FRANCE J.D.W. hand painted handled plate. It measures 10 1/2” (from handle to handle) and has scalloped edge with gold trim. The hand painted design depicts violets with beautiful pale green background. It is marked with the “LIMOGES FRANCE” mark, which dates it circa 1891 (see photos). It is also marked with artist initials “J D W” (see photos). It is in very good vintage preowned condition with no chips, cracks or crazing (see photos).
