Vintage Japanese Glass Fishing Float.. Small 2.5 Inch.. Very Rare Makers Mark & Net (#44)
This small little float is approximately 8" in circumference and 2 1/2" inches in diameter. (see note below regarding the circumference measurement)* It has been picked out of many floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. It made of hand blown glass. Its glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. It is in good and sound condition. It is a beautiful pale aqua blue-green color, has a very rare makers mark and a full original net (see photos). It is unusual for these small floats to be marked with makers mark and this one is very unique and unusually rare. All floats are unique and different and this float has many interesting characteristics (see photos).
