Vintage Small Japanese Glass Fishing Float.. Moss Green, Rare Makers Mark & Net (#5)
This float is approximately 8" in circumference (see note below regarding the circumference measurement)*. It has been picked out of many floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. It made of hand blown glass. Its glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. It is in good and sound condition. It is a beautiful moss green color, has a full net and has a rare makers mark (see photos). It is unusual for these small floats to be marked with makers mark. All floats are unique and different and this float has many interesting characteristics (see photos).
*NOTE: The distance around a sphere, or in this case a float, is known as the circumference.
