Vintage 1930's-40's ROYAL WINTON GRIMWADES Made In England Celery Serving Dish For Teatime
The custom in Britain is often to serve celery in ling stalks with leaves attached. This vintage piece was made to serve celery this way. It is approximately 13" long and 4 1/2" wide. It is marked in green with a Royal Winton Grimwades mark used in the 1930's-40's. There is a little black firing flaw on each end (see photos) and some normal age crazing. Otherwise it is in good vintage condition with no cracks, chips or scratches. This will make a great addition to your authentic English afternoon tea!
