1920's-30's Hand painted Vintage 8.5" MAJOLICA PITCHER.. Japan Cottage Décor
This is a lovely vintage piece of collectible Japanese Majolica. It is a Pitcher that measures approximately 8 1/2" tall. It has raised floral design with wine/pink flowers and leaves in two shades of green. It has a pebbled cream colored background with black trim. It has an impressed mark that is only partially readable. It appears to have the letters "MAUE" and some additional letters that are not readable and then "JAPAN". The pitcher has glaze crazing which is typical of the old majolica pieces and some light discoloring around the top (see photos). It is otherwise in good vintage used condition with no chips or cracks (see photos).

Unless other arrangements have been agreed to prior to purchase the buyer should make payment within three days following purchase.
Shipping from United States
We ship within three business days after receipt of payment. We generally ship using U.S. Postal Service and depending upon the size and weight of the item will use First Class or Parcel Post. In some cases we will use Priority Mail if the cost is close to the Parcel Post rate for the destination. We can arrange to ship using other services and upon request will give our customer a quote for other such upgraded services. If the buyer desires insurance this should be communicated to us so that we can add the cost of insurance to their invoice. We do sell World-Wide and will ship internationally but the customer should request a shipping quote for such services. Once we have an international destination we can provide a shipping quote to the customer.
Refunds
RETURN POLICY: All items in our auctions are described in a careful manner in order to provide the buyer with the necessary information to make an informed purchase. It is our pledge that items sold are guaranteed to be in the condition described in the listing. IF ITEM IS FOUND TO BE SUBSTANTIALLY DIFFERENT THAN DESCRIBED IT MAY BE RETURNED WITHIN 3 DAYS. THE PURCHASE PRICE WILL BE REFUNDED WHEN THE ITEM IS RECEIVED BACK INTO THE SELLER'S POSSESSION. In all cases the buyer will pay the cost of return shipping.
