Vintage Japanese GLASS FISHING FLOAT Original Net, Kanji Makers Mark, Moss Green (# 20)

This float is approximately 11 inches in circumference (including net). It is made of hand blown glass. This is a Japanese fishing float was actually used and has spent much of its life at sea. It has been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese fishing floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Its thick heavy glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. It is in good and sound condition with the normal wear one finds on fishing floats that have survived years of use in the ocean. The float is beautiful pale moss green color. The float is rare in that it has the full original net attached. The float also has the Kanji Maker's marks on the seal on the bottom. This float is a rare find because of its beautiful color, sound condition, full original net and Kanji makers mark (see photos). Every vintage float is different and this one has many beautiful unique features (see photos).
