This fabulous mid-century doll was discovered recently in the contents of a high-end estate. The previous owners made a trip to Italy in the late 1950's and returned with many beautiful mementoes. We believe this was one of the unique pieces they found in Italy. She is a poseable type doll in the "Big Eye" style. She is entirely made of high quality leather, except for her hair and eyelashes! She appears to be skillfully hand crafted with great attention to detail. She is wearing a purple leather turtleneck, skinny pants, beret and shoes (see photos). Her eyelashes look like soft fur and her hair is probably synthetic. She measures approximately 14" tall. Her braids are slightly messy due to being wrapped in tissue but otherwise she is in great condition (see photos).
