Vintage Large Italian Marble Bird Bath With 4 White Carved Alabaster Birds / Doves

This is a beautiful large Italian Marble bird bath with 4 white carved alabaster Doves. Bird bath measures over 10" tall with its pedestal (not including the Doves). The bath potion measures approximately 16" in diameter. The doves are nearly life size and are carved with each being in a different pose. This lovely piece was originally purchased in Italy in the 1950's and was left never unpacked or assembled for use. It was a recent estate find at a local estate sale. It is in good vintage pre-owned condition (see photos). The bath and pedestal are in two pieces with the bath being made to sit on the pedestal with a portion on its bottom that inserts into the pedestal (see photos). The Doves sit on the edge of the bath with little metal pegs that insert into both the birds and pedestal. It would make a beautiful decorating element in any garden room. This is heavy item that would be difficult to pack for shipment so we are offering it as local pick-up at Seaside, OR. However, It would possible for us to arrange for a local UPS center (about 16 miles from us) to pack and ship at buyers expense. This service would include packing, shipping and guarantee of safe delivery. It would be necessary to get a quote from UPS for this service to the intended destination (They would have to inspect the item and know the intended address within 7 days from shipping, in order to give a quote).
