This is an all natural giant clam Tridacna Gigas Sea Shell/Seashell. It is approximately 24 1/2" wide, 16" deep and 9 1/2" tall. It has an impressive total weight of 65 pounds. This is a very large natural one piece or 1/2 clam shell / seashell. Its scientific name is Tridacna Gigas meaning "Giant Clam". This shell is old and naturally worn. There are some typical scattered chips, nicks and loss to lip and top edge (see photos). Otherwise it is in excellent, all original condition with no significant man made damage. There is no restorations or repairs and no unnatural stains or discolorations (see photos). It is a beautiful piece with even some natural Coral attached to its back in one place (see photos). It displays very well and will be a great addition to any beach, seaside or ocean front décor. It would make a beautiful element in any garden setting.

This is a heavy item that would be difficult to pack for shipment so we are offering it as local pick-up at Seaside, OR. However, It would possible for us to arrange for a local UPS center (about 16 miles from us) to pack and ship at buyers expense. This service would include packing, shipping and guarantee of safe delivery. It would be necessary to get a quote from UPS for this service to the intended destination (They would have to inspect the item and know the intended address within 7 days from shipping, in order to give a quote).
