Vintage 14" In Circumference Japanese GLASS FISHING FLOAT.. Full Net & Bubbles (#44)
This float is approximately 14 inches in circumference (including net). It is made of hand blown glass. This is a Japanese fishing float was actually used and has spent much of its life at sea. It has been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese fishing floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Its thick heavy glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. It is in good and sound condition with wear and abrasions to its surface that one finds on fishing floats that have survived years of use in the ocean (see photos). The float has thick glass with bubbles. This float has its original net (see photos). Every vintage float is different and this one has many beautiful unique features (see photos).
