A very pretty, vintage book VANITY FAIR by W. M. Thackery. It was published by H.M. Caldwell Company, New York (1896-1914). It is illustrated with charming engravings and gilt edge on page tops. Nice decorative cover in green, aqua, cream and gold. Some discoloring, name in pencil on frontspiece. Overall very attractive book in good vintage pre-owned condition for over 100 years old (see photos).
