This is a vintage True Temper Flint Edge hatchet. It is marked "TRUE TEMPER FLINT EDGE" and "U.S.A." (see photos). It weighs approximately 2 pounds. It measures approximately 13 1/2" in length from top of head to end of handle. Its handle is solid, sound and tight. It is in good vintage pre-owned condition and there are no breaks or repairs on this early hatchet (see photos). It is a vintage antique hatchet that has been used so does show wear, scratches and staining (see photos).
