Vintage Japanese Glass FISHING FLOAT.. Bubbles, Striations.. Moss Green (#22)
This is a Japanese glass fishing float. It is approximately 11 1/2 inches in circumference (see note below*). It is a beautiful pale moss green color (see photos). It is made of hand blown glass. This Japanese fishing float was actually used and has spent its life at sea. It has been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Its thick heavy glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. This float most likely spent many years at sea.
