Rare Vintage Japanese Glass FISHING FLOAT.. Many Bubbles & Moss Green (#4)

This is a Japanese glass fishing float. It is a small float approximately 8" inches in circumference (see note below regarding the circumference measurement)*. It is a beautiful pale moss green color and has many bubbles (see photos). It is made of hand blown glass. This Japanese fishing float was actually used and has spent its life at sea. It has been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Its thick heavy glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. This float is unusual in that its bottom is somewhat flattened giving it the shape of the top of a mushroom (see photos). Every vintage float is different and this one has many beautiful unique features (see photos). This is a very collectible rare float that will be a great addition to any collection.
