Vintage Japanese Glass FISHING FLOAT With Very Nice Tight Full Original Net (#1)

This float is approximately 10.5 inches in circumference (including net) which is about the size of a baseball (see note below regarding the circumference measurement)*. It is made of hand blown glass. This is a Japanese fishing float was actually used and has spent much of its life at sea. It has been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese fishing floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Its thick heavy glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. It is in good and sound condition with the normal wear one finds on fishing floats that have survived years of use in the ocean. The float is beautiful pale blue/green color. The float is nice in that it has the full original net attached That is exceptionally tight. This float is a rare find because of its beautiful color, sound condition and full original net.
