3 Unique Vintage Japanese GLASS FISHING FLOATS Net, Rolling Pin & Clear W/Bubbles (#46)

This is a group of three unique and different types of small glass Japanese fishing floats. There is a glass float that is approximately 8" in circumference that has a full net and is a beautiful sky blue color (see note below regarding the circumference measurement)*. There is a rolling pin float that measures approximately 5" in length. And there is a small glass float that is approximately 7 1/2" in circumference that that has many bubbles. They are all made of hand blown glass. These Japanese fishing floats were actually used and have spent much of their lives at sea. Each have been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese fishing floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Their thick glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. They are in good and sound condition with the normal wear one finds on fishing floats that have survived years of use in the ocean. Each of the floats have subtle color differences ranging in shades of blue and aqua greens. Every vintage float is different and these each have many beautiful unique features (see photos).
