Vintage HEMOMETER MEDICAL DEVICE Lab Equipment Made By Adams
This is a vintage Adams Improved Hemometer that looks to be complete and is in good vintage preowned condition (see photos). This is an antique medical device that was used by doctors and labs. The instrument was used to determine the hemoglobin content of the blood by spectrophotometric measurement. Portable hemoglobinometers like this Adams were used in the early 20th century to provide easy and convenient measurement, which was particularly useful in areas where no clinical laboratories were available. This instrument comes in its original box that measures approximately 6.5" x 3.2" x 1.5".
